Glen Ellen is small enough that a party here still feels like a party rather than an event. Special Lady Friend plays those nights as a six-piece band that can fill a garden or a barn with sound, or pare down for a patio with thirty guests and a bottle of something local.
A lot of Glen Ellen properties are built around outdoor living: a lawn, an old oak, a stone patio with a view. We plan for that. Five players and a vocalist with compact amplification can hold a garden without a stage, and the full band setup works once there is a flat area and power within reach.
Anniversary dinners, milestone birthdays, small weddings and estate gatherings. The set starts with soul and blues under conversation, then moves toward funk and rock when the evening turns. If the party includes a toast or a first dance, we are happy to learn a song for it with a couple of weeks notice.
Glen Ellen bookings often come together a few months out, and weekends in spring and fall go first. Send the date, the address type, house or venue, and the number of guests, and we will tell you what fits and what it costs for that night.
